How It All Began
DDWF – the Dhiraji Devi Welfare Foundation – was established in 2008, born from a simple but powerful conviction: that every person, regardless of their background, deserves access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunity.
What began as a small community initiative addressing educational disparities in a single district has grown into a multi-state organisation. Our approach — rooted in rigorous data, community co-design, and deep local partnerships — has enabled us to scale our impact while maintaining the trust and accountability our donors and beneficiaries deserve.
Today we operate across 4 states, partnering with local governments, international bodies, and grassroots organisations to deliver professional-grade reliability in every project. Every initiative is designed to be self-sustaining within five years — because lasting change cannot depend on perpetual external funding.
Foundation Established
